WHO WE ARE
Bridge the World Travel and Cruise Centre is an Independent Retail Travel Agency, co-owned by myself, Melanie Grigoratos and business partner Julie Stephens. We offer a comprehensive range of travel related services, including, but not limited to, flights, accommodation, cruises, rail, tours and travel insurance; and we take the utmost pride in going the extra mile for our clients. We took over ownership of the agency in May 2015 and had enjoyed operated a thriving and very successful travel agency from our busy little shop in Two Rocks for six wonderful years. With the interruption of the pandemic, we closed the shop and continued to operate from our home based offices, located in Sorrento and Alkimos, Western Australia. We were lucky enough to survive through the downturn of the rigid travel restrictions and have bounced back stronger than ever before. We hit the ground running our borders reopened in 2022 and we haven’t stopped! Our business is thriving once again and we have our loyal existing clients and a plethora of new clients to thank for it!
We are formidable duo with a combined lifetime of expertise and knowledge in the travel, tourism, cruising and airline industries and are dedicated to maintaining and developing the professionalism and integrity of our agency. We are passionate at what we do, and offer our clients the best professional service and advice on their travel arrangements and ensure their holidays are smooth sailing and trouble free.
OUR HISTORY
Bridge the World Travel and Cruise Centre has come a long way over the years, since its inception back in 2011, and has established itself as reputable and respectable travel agency with a strong history in service excellence. The agency changed hands a few times over the years and we stepped into the role as the new owners 9 years ago, in May 2015.

Our client’s happiness and peace of mind is our main focus and objective, and by providing an efficient, professional and personalized service, with thorough destination knowledge, detailed information of all travel related requirements, expert advice and recommendations based on personal and professional experiences, we take pride in the knowledge that we have established strong and trusting relationships with all our valued clients and suppliers. We aim to keep it up and exceed our service excellence, and will continue to evolve to become the one of the most trusted and utilized travel agencies in Perth.
OUR TEAM
Melanie Grigoratos
I was born and raised in the beautiful country of Rhodesia, Zimbabwe now, and lived in South Africa for a number of years before immigrating to Australia in 2008. My passion for travel began many years ago in the airline industry, where I worked for several years before joining a tour operating agency specializing in tours to Southern and East Africa. After moving to Australia, and settling in Perth, I continued to work in Africa wholesale for a few years before changing over to the retail travel sector. I am an absolute travel enthusiast through and through, its firmly ingrained in my blood, and I derive immense pleasure in taking the reins and planning travel itineraries for my clients, discovering their passions, their wants and needs and then diligently designing the perfect holiday for them, suited to their needs, because their happiness is, quite simply, my happiness!
Julie Stephens
Growing up in New Zealand I developed the urge to travel in my early twenties and have been fortunate enough to have travel to over 60 countries around the world where I had the most incredible experiences and gained valuable and vast knowledge of UK, Europe, Asia, North & South America, Africa and of course the Great Down Under. As an experienced Travel Agent, I am passionate about sharing my travel knowledge and expertise with my clients so that they can also experience the amazing travel destinations for business or leisure
